      The Hotel Waldstaetterhof in located in Brunnen in the Kanton Schwyz (SZ) that means in the very central part of Switzerland. A town map can be found in the webpage for Brunnen.

      There are several ways to reach Brunnen  (Schwyz, SZ) :

      by Train:

      The little town of Brunnen has a train station that is directly on the transalpine train route from Zuerich to Milano (Italy) that goes through the Gotthard pass. This is a very busy line and therefore the connections to Brunnen are rather frequent and easy to catch. The travelling time from Zuerich is about 1 hour and from Milano about 3 hours. Exact timetable you can directly access by the time-table webpage ( www.sbb.ch)  of the Swiss Federal  Railways. 
       

      If you land at Zuerich Airport you can directly walk to the train station at the Airport. During the day there are 2 trains per hour going to Brunnen (13min and 43min past the hour). The travel time is ~ 1hour 20min. For late evening arrivals please check the time-table.
      If you come to Brunnen from  Geneva you have two connections per hour (however, almost at the same time) with a travel time of  ~4 1/4 hours. Please check your connections on www.sbb.ch as mentioned above. 

      The distance from the train station to the Hotel Waldstaetterhof is ~ 800m and takes about 10 minutes to walk. If you come out of the train station just follow the main road towards the lake until you hit the shore. Then turn to the right and go for another 80 m and you are there.
       

      by Car:

      Since Brunnen is along the transalpine north-south axis it is also rather easy to reach by car. The Autobahn (E41/A4) has an exit at Brunnen. For a roadmap on how to get there you should use one of the map-web-pages . Parking of the car in Brunnen should be no problem. You can park at the hotel.
      For people coming by car from Geneva there exist in the summer the possibility to drive through the mountains instead of going on the highway half around of Switzerland. Drive up the Valais and go over the Furka Pass (have a look at Rhone Glacier) to the Gotthard Pass and then follow the Reuss Valley down to Altdorf and Brunnen.

      by Boat:

      Take the train to Lucerne and change to the boat that will bring you in a couple of hours to Brunnen. The Hotel Waldstätterhof is directly at the boat landing site. For time-tables please check out www.lakelucerne.ch .
